What Casa collects
We do not receive your devices, their state, your tokens or any personal data. Only what the trial and license need, below.
Where your data lives
The connections you add, including access tokens, are stored only on your Mac. You can remove them at any time in Connections.
Who Casa talks to
When you use a connector, the app sends requests directly from your Mac to that platform — for example LG ThinQ or your own Home Assistant — using the token you provided. Those requests are covered by that platform's own privacy policy.
Trial and license
The version downloaded from this website asks our license server when your 14-day trial started and checks your license key. It sends only an anonymous identifier of your Mac (a one-way hash, not the serial number) and the key. When you buy a license, Stripe processes the payment; we keep the key and the email you paid with so you can see it again under My licenses. Signing in there uses your Google account; we receive only your email address and a Google account identifier. The Mac App Store version uses Apple's purchase system instead and talks to no server of ours for this. We never receive your card details.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
